After school Digital Makers Club (formerly coding club) for children in Years 1- 4. Children in Year 1 & 2 will be introduced to digital making using the iPads. We will use a combination of digital technologies and computational puzzles that will help the children develop their computational thinking, digital and creative skills.
Children in Year 3 & 4 will be using laptops and a range of digital technologies to allow them to design, code and solve problems.
At the club the children will…
- draw and animate their own characters
- create a story for their characters
- learn programming concepts
- apply computational thinking to projects
- learn to think logically
- learn to debug
- solve coding puzzles
- share and collaborate with others
